Just following up this thread ...

We use v4 ACLs, in part because we also export via SMB as well. Note that we do also use the fileset option "chmodAndUpdateAcl"

I would be interested to know what you chose for your filesystems and user/project space directories:


  *   Traditional Posix ACL
  *   NFS V4 ACL

What did motivate your choice?

We are facing some issues to get the correct NFS ACL to keep correct attributes for new files created.
