Hi Atmane,

In terms of this kind of disk management question, I would like to suggest
to open a PMR to make IBM service help you.

mmdelpdisk command would not need to reboot system to take effect.

dear all,

I change A Disk In Gss Storage Server

mmchcarrier BB1RGL --release --pdisk 'e1d1s02'
mmchcarrier BB1RGL --replace --pdisk 'e1d1s02'


after replace disk Now I Have 2 Discs In My Gss

the first disc was well changed name = "e1d1s02"

the second disk still
after I use this cmd


mmdelpdisk BB1RGL --pdisk e1d1s02#004 -a

the disk is still in use

i need to reboot the system or ??
