That's basically what we did, They are only environment variables, so if you not using bash to call mmbackup you will need to change the lines accordingly.

What they do is in the manual the issue is the default changed between versions.....

We have the same problem (less of a problem, more lack of visibilitiy).

Can I just add those lines to the top of our mmbackup.sh script?

I'll set those variables before kicking off the next mmbackup and hope that fixes it.
