storage."
Take care with the "encryption" claim. Spectrum Scale can encrypt your
data as it is stored onto Spectrum Scale controlled disks (NSDs)...
I could be wrong, but last I looked, there was no way to export or backup
the encrypted data blocks. Naturally when you cp, dd, tar, a file to
another system you
are getting the file data "in the clear".
OTOH, of course if you FlashCopy a volume that is holding an encrypted
Spectrum Scale file system, then those data blocks are encrypted.
