Hmm. I thought part of the point was that different nodes (clients?) could have different encryption keys.
And I also understood that it was encrypted to the client (I.e. Potentially on the wire). Though the docs talk about at rest and decrypted on the way, so a little unclear. But I could be completely wrong on this.

Hrm – I thought it was done at the server, meaning data in the client (pagepool) was unencrypted…
