Hi ( we do at Birmingham )

1) Do you use Windows or Linux TSM?
>>>>>>	We use TSM on Linux.
2) Do you use HSM (Linux: TSM Space Management, Windows: TSM HSM)?
>>>>>>	We don't use HSM currently on our HPC system
3) Do you use TSM in the traditional mode for backup/archive, or pass a filelist generated by GPFS?
>>>>>>	We've had issues with mmbackup in v3.2, so use TSM in a traditional mode.

However we are currently upgrading TSM from our v5.5 to v6.3 and GPFS from v3.3 to v3.5 and onto new hardware.

Subject: [gpfsug-discuss] Quick hand count of GPFS + TSM users

Hello there

Of the membership, who of you [or your companies] use TSM with GPFS?

If you do:

1) Do you use Windows or Linux TSM?

2) Do you use HSM (Linux: TSM Space Management, Windows: TSM HSM)?

3) Do you use TSM in the traditional mode for backup/archive, or
pass a filelist generated by GPFS?

If you do not use TSM:

4) What backup / HSM software do you use?

Thanks

Jez
